What we do

We offer support in the north and north-east of England to people suffering domestic abuse. We also offer a perpetrator programme to assist perpetrators in changing their behaviour.

Our wider services extend to individuals and families who are affected by the following issues:

  • Homeless or at risk of homelessness
  • Leaving prison or on probation
  • Leaving care
  • Domestic abuse

We work with hundreds of people every year, helping them to build a better, healthier and more positive life – we’re here so that you don’t have to face your challenges alone.

How we can help

We see the potential in everyone, so we’ve developed a comprehensive set of services to ensure that every individual we work with is given the basics they need to start again and create a positive foundation for their future.

In addition to helping people secure appropriate accommodation and providing emotional and practical support, we also strive to secure opportunities for our clients, such as:

  • Volunteering
  • Employment
  • Environmental projects
  • Sport activities
  • Community activities

We’ll help you to recognise your real value and learn new skills – and you’ll also be given the opportunity to contribute to the running of our services, and invited to help our staff teams make decisions central to our client base.

Your voice matters, and we’re here to listen. If you’re affected by homelessness or domestic abuse, or need some support as you make the transition from prison or care, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email or call us on 0113 303 0150 for an informal chat in complete confidence.

If you suspect you are being abused, Foundation can help you regain control of your life.
